Ron speak on strategies to use to build your small business.
RONALD BALSBAUGH has broad experience during his
years at Quaker Oats Company in integrating acquisitions into the total
organization. This included assessing the strengths and weaknesses of
each acquisition and them implementing programs that would blend the
business into the total Quaker system. Ron was an integral part of
designing regional marketing and sales strategies across various sales
channels to grow the Gatorade business from 100 million dollars in l984
to a 1.4 billion dollar business in 1996. After retirement from Quaker
Oats, Balsbaugh held the position of VP of Sales and Distribution for
the Organic Food Products, Inc. in Morgan Hill, California. His
expertise covers brand management, sales development, sales management,
acquisitions, sales strategies, food broker network, and distribution.
Ron Balsbaugh has been a professor of business management at Lake
Forest College. Ron’s educational background includes, Northeastern
University, Executive Management Program and Indiana University, BS in
business administration and MBA.
